An idea that is good, but also unique, compelling, and fascinating enough to translate into an amazing product for kids.
Typically originates from a child’s thought, observation, action, or general amazingness.
I see fun.
A güdea can come from anywhere. I have journals, folders and binders full of ideas. Sorting through my ideas to figure out which ones are a true güdea is a key part of my process.
I prototype fun.
I design and develop a prototype for my concepts. I work with amazing engineers who help bring my ideas to life. My prototypes are thoughtful, functional and built to be manufacturable. Testing my prototypes with kids is KEY! I refine my prototypes until I get the, “Can I take this home?” stamp of approval.
I pitch fun.
I share my prototypes with kid-focused companies with the goal of licensing my concepts.
