a bit about me

I spent most of my career in the marketing world. When I became a mom, I realized I didn't just have ideas for creative marketing campaigns, but also had ideas for new, innovative products.

Creating games, crafts and toys became one of my favorite ways to engage with my kids and their friends. I was fascinated by kiddo’s reactions to the concepts and found so much inspiration in their genuine feedback.

Kid feedback is the best. There is no faking it. Kids tell you the raw truth and it is powerful and wonderful. Achieving “Can I play again” … “Can I try it again?” … “Can I take this home” is the ultimate goal. Those responses are key signs of success and an essential part of my process.

a few things I’m passionate about:

Helping kids be kids longer.

Kids grow up so fast! I develop products that embrace the concept of keeping them young. Even if they wanna grow up at an especially fast rate these days.

Making screen-free time easier.

Screens are everywhere. So many parents are looking for products that draw kids away from screens. I want to do anything we can to help with this problem, because I experience it everyday, too!

Encouraging open-ended play.

Open-ended play is something that is so innate to children, but it can be lost too early if it is not nurtured and encouraged. I hope to create open-ended products that will help make this type of play even more fun.

Making fun functional.

When kids need to learn something, I always look for a way to make it fun. This inspires so many ideas. I create products that put fun first, and are educational as a bonus.
